Managing bad behaviour: While teaching soccer, this part can prove to be disastrous for the entire team if not handled in time. For example, confront the player who regularly comes late for the sessions. Reprimand him with any easy punishment to send a message to the remaining players.

Similar is the case with parents, some of which may try to interfere a lot in the affairs of the team. Make everyone understand in order to avoid it. You are the coach and you will take decisions. That said, parents involvement to a certain degree is absolutely essential.

Be in charge: Every single act of yours is closely observed by the players as it’s natural for them to copy you. So keep your conduct in check. Be good and courteous to your colleagues, opposite team, and fellow team members. Arrive at the field for the training sessions before the players reach. While practicing, avoid passing judgments on the players or the referee.
