After a breakup of a long term relationship, I decided to take up guitar as a hobby. I had always wanted to learn how to play guitar while in my relationship, but never had the time. Once my ex left and I wrote down my “bucket list” of what I wanted to do with my life, guitar was towards the top of my list.

Now that I’m at an intermediate level with my guitar skills, I’ve got to say that my life is much improved – I regularly gig with two groups that each love the same types of music I do, and playing guitar has helped me get active in many parts of my life again. Your dream was to learn to play guitar, but there was ever any time to take the lessons. Last year, from out of the blue, my 9 year old daughter informed me that she would like an acoustic guitar.
