Online doctorial programs don’t offer student chances to teach or become research aides like the normal programs.  These experiences are beneficial when competing for a job in academia after graduation.  Though angles are changing, many companies believe that a web degree is not as good as a standard degree and overlook these graduates as potential job applicants.
