Best cable I’ve ever used.

Excellent cable by Fender. I made the mistake of using cheaper cables on my rig consisting of 2 Fender GT amplifiers and a Peavey. I was hearing quite a lot of noise but thought initially it was caused by some other things I was doing; then one of my amps starting channeling an AM radio station. Oops – that’s when I realized the importance of high quality cables. I replaced all cables (even the cables that shipped with my Peavey 6505H) and _all_ of the noise (including AM radio) disappeared. Moreover, these cables are strong but flexile and the ends are high quality and firmly attached. Fender is the only cable I’ll be using going forward.
Now my effects pedal can hold hands…

I’ve always like Fender cables. They are pretty high quality and the price is right. Found these from this seller for the best price, and they arrived quickly. They work great. My only gripe, is that they do not come packaged like they appear in the picture, attached to the green cardboard “box” like you see in the picture, or would find in the store. Instead, there were two fender 6-inch cables loose in a plastic bag, which at first glance seems a little unprofessional. I’m sure the vendor buys the 50-pk in bulk and then divies up the cables selling them off in “packs of two”. I’m pretty sure that’s why they can sell the cables for cheaper, and they are definitely cheaper priced. However, the quality is good, shipping was fast, so I guess no harm, no foul. Still, it seems a bit deceiving…
My go-to cable for home practice!

Bought this to use for home practice. Built sturdy, and has been my go-to cable ever since I’ve had it. It’s survived countless band practices and is still going strong. Would definitely buy again.

Well, I had a fender mini amp for practicing my guitar at home and figured “why not try the cable?” I actually already had an amp cable which I brought from the guitar store but hated the color. This cable cost less than the one I had and it is thicker, sturdy and looks nicer. For now, I’m happy with. I tried it out the first day I got out and have no complaints. If things should change then I will revise my review at that time.
Never buying another one…failed for no reason during home use
Cable failed for no apparent reason. Using it for a home set up…turned on the amp one day and cable is dead. There is no reason for the cable to fail…it wasn’t pulled, stepped on, or any of the other things a cable would go through in a live performance setting. I’m just using it at home and the cable has never left the room. I’ve had cheaper cables that have lasted for years, and they’re much more flexible than this heavy cable, which may be the root of the problem. So much for professional grade. Let’s see what it takes for Fender to replace this cable which was bought new on Amazon from Amazon.
I got my first guitar and a cheap amp came with it. I thought all the cracks, pops, and fuzz I was hearing was just because I had a crappy amp. Since I can’t afford a new amp yet, I took a gamble on this cable. It cut down om almost all the noise and saved my crappy “hollinger” amp. Also 10ft is a must, forget that 5ft. I am still saving for a real amp, but in the meantime at least I can play without interference.
For $11-$12 you get a quality cable

Arrived on time, bought this to replace a thought to be dead cable only to find out that the input on my brothers amp is actually bad ironically the old cable died on his older amp so it wound up being a necessary purchase anyway 😛 I can say having heard him play with his old cable (when it was good) and this one the difference is immeasurably better I’m not sure if its just the thicker/better quality wires or plugs being used, or that his recent input jack repair on his guitar is the factor of this better sound either way its definitely worth it if need or want to get a better cord than a cheapo one.
No more static noise
I was having feedback issues with the guitar center instrument cables I had. At first I thought maybe one of the tubes in my amp, mainly the effects loop, had gone. Then I used those cables in the front of the amp and got a lot of static feedback. My noise gate had to be put on near 2 o’clock to get rid of it. I hated that sound. I got 4 of these with the right angle ends on my effect pedals and let me tell you, no more feedback. My effects loop sounds clean. The front of the guitar sounds amazing. I honestly don’t think I need my isp g-string anymore. Buy these cables and buy them now
Spend the extra few dollars and get high quality.
I really wanted this to be a good product.
Over rated Fender name product
The plastic sleeves that are supposed to take the pressure off the cable when plugged into the amp, guess they are called cable relief bands or something like that, actually don’t work that well. I found the cable at the end shorted out I had to remove the plastic and cut back the cable and resolder the ends. Not like I go gigging with this so they are medium duty I would suggest. You are paying for the Fender name on the cable but if you repair that you end up having no name anyways. The cable itself is beefy but perhaps that is no indication of the quality of the cable… Just fat insulation nothing else…I guess if you get it for the right price buy them but I would not got out of my way to buy these again.
