Baby’s first Uke

Already a fan of First Act I picked this up for my son who was a year and a half and had gotten ahold of Mommy’s Uke. It holds a tune just fine, it sounds like the real deal, and best of all it takes the abuse of a toddler who thinks he is a subtle, delightful blend of rockstar and King Kong. We got the Dory one, mostly because it was cute and cheaper, we named it “Blue”. 10/10 do recommend.

Wonderful "Baby Guitar" For Toddlers

My daughter’s been picking up our big guitars and dragging them around the house since she turned about 18 months old, so we bought this little ukulele for her in hopes she’d focus on it instead. It worked! She loves her “Baby Guitar” and carries it with her. Of course, the strings are just fishing line, and they probably won’t continue to stay in tune all the time, but it does play well for being a kids ukulele. She really loves it.

I own two ukuleles. After my child tried jumping over my soprano uke I got this for for her for $7. This uke is by no mean a practice or performance uke, but it can be a child’s best musical friend. The string can stay in tune, and one can carry a tune with it. The best thing is that it is built sturdy and coated with synthetic lacquer. It withstood smacking, being stepped on, and it bore the weight my child without cracking. After that we could still tune it and sing. I highly recommend getting this for your young child who is getting into music and instrument.

My mini rocker plays it everyday

I play guitar so my 18 mo old crumb cruncher wants to play too. When he broke his spiderman guitar we replaced it with this. He’s not trying to play chords or solos and not ready for lessons of any kind. He just delightfully wails away on it and enjoys the discordant chaos. As far as he’s concerned he’s “playing guitar.” I hang it on the wall with my guitars when he isn’t using it. Its pretty sturdy for a plastic toy. He likes Mickey Mouse. He likes making noise. This is just right. Playing guitar is mostly about getting the poses down anyway. 😉

This is a fav with both of my kids (2 and 5)! It’s definitely a toy versus a real instrument, but it’s been perfect for kids who just want to play. The graphics look nice and it feels substantial. Not as light and cheap as I thought it might be. For the price, I’m happy with my purchase!

This ukulele is adorable and perfect for my 4 yr old. Although I’m happy with the product, I’m not happy with the misleading photo. I paid a few extra dollars & purchased from this seller because the advertised picture has troll hair coming off the neck of the ukulele. When I received the item there was no troll hair to be found 😞 That was an important feature for me, so I was disappointed.

Great little guitar!!! My 4 yr old loves it! The cost is great as these go for $20 plus in the store. I’m very happy with this purchase!

Really? This thing barely makes any sound.

What a dissapointment and an absolute piece of …. you can fill out the rest. This thing barely makes any sound. I wasn’t expecting much but I at least expected that this thing can play something that sounds a bit like music. Nope, how about at least a sound? Any sound? Nope. I don’t know how to explain this any better than my previous statement that allows you to fill in the blank. Save your money, not worth it.

Sean McGaughey- Up On The Housetop

I got a pink plastic princess ukulele at the thrift shop last night for $4.00. The strings cost me another 4 bucks. This is just me trying it out. It is a First Act Disney Princess Mini Guitar . (I don't know why they didn't call it a uke). https://www.firstact.com/content/dp285-princess-mini-guitar
