  1. I’ve played the clarinet for six years, and I’d like to move onto the bass guitar. The bass reminds me of the clarinet a lot actually. Both are background instruments, that aren’t really the main deal in a band, unless taken out. The bass sounds beautiful, the deeper notes (compared to other string instruments) is definitely to my liking.

I’ve never been to great at stringed instruments, usually more in-key with woodwinds or every now and then keyed instruments like the piano. I’m hoping within the next few years I will be able to confidently play the bass with ease.

  2. Same here, i play the french horn, and want to try out the bass since they both dont usually have the melody, but can still stand out at times, and sound beautiful doing it

  3. I’m not sure but ,if anyone else wants to learn about online guitar course try Grathaw Guitar Playing Expert (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my brother in law got excellent results with it.

  4. Very nice. simple to understand. I play the drums, and i have an interest in playing the bass. And it seems like the bass player follows what the drummer is doing. this will help me a lot.

  5. I have played drums for 7 years now and I feel like moving on to bass. I think it would be pretty easy from the rhytmical part for me : )
