OK for the money

I recently picked up an Ibanez SRX 400 bass in a trade deal. It has become my knocking around bass here at home. Since it didn’t come with any case and I can’t see paying the $120.00 or so dollars for the Ibanez HSC I decided to go with a gig bag. Target price was under $30 and so I thought the ChromaCast CC-BPB-BAG at under $20.00 would do OK.
Pleasantly surprised to be a new ChromaCast fan

I really bought this for the backpack-style straps, but it’s got zippered pockets that hold more than I could possibly need. The front and side handles have flexible plastic grips, which are nice. What I really like about the ChromaCast bag (pictured on the right), compared to the Fender gig bag (pictured on the left), is that the body of the bag is not cut symmetrically, with a zipper running along the center. The rear of the bag cradles the guitar, while the front panel covers the front. My guitar doesn’t sit atop the zipper in this bag. The overall footprint of the ChromaCast bag is smaller, too. It’s a more fitted cut than the Fender bag. Since I usually buy a case/bag for specific instruments, I have not found any utility in the wiggle room in the Fender bag.

Good bag. 2 mms padding, lots of pockets with zippers. Even has 3 ways of carrying/holding the bass. On the back/shoulder, on the side, and in the middle. Holds my full sized bass perfectly with good balance and comfort. Has pockets to fit my book and cable and mini amp if needed or wanted.
Great gig bag for Les Paul!

This is the best inexpensive gig bag for a Les Paul. I’ve purchased and returned (2) others – the $20 Epiphone bag (terrible!) and $24 Gator (better than Epi bag but no where near as good as the ChromaCast, ). The ChromaCast is heavy duty nylon, has a larger, tougher zipper and many pockets. The straps are padded and the bag will protect my Epiphone Les Paul Standard as well as any gig bag. If you’re going on tour you should use a hard shell case, but if all you need is a gig bag, this one is excellent. I have not received any merchandise for free or at a discount for any of my opinions/reviews!
Great guitar bag. A good value.
This bag is great! I was actually impressed with how sturdy it is. Material is heavy duty. Padding is pretty good. More than adequate for shuffling my guitar around. (I still opt to keep my $$ guitar in a hard case. BTW ChromaCast has a cheap one of those too if you want to go that route). This bag seems well thought out, is reinforced in key places, has a handy pocket, heavy duty handle, and back-pack style straps. Not the most comfortable option, but still nice to have. I will seriously consider other ChromaCast products after this.
Perfect fit and snug protection for my oddly shaped lefty ABG
I have a LEFT-HANDED Kramer-Ferrington acoustic bass guitar. Lefty’s in general are tough to fit into gig bags, but this beast was impossible. I used to bring it to gigs in a gigantic keyboard gig bag. This fits it perfectly and has ample room in the pockets for everything I need to bring on a gig. I really couldn’t be happier with this gig back, and I’ve started giving lesser gig bags I use for other instruments some serious side-eye.
Zipper broke the first time I used it with my Jazz bass, which this case is NOT too small to fit, so that shouldn’t have been a problem. It’s just poorly made. I would return it but of course I didn’t need to use this gig bag until after the return window had closed, so now I’m stuck with a useless gig bag.
Good choice. No buyers’ remorse.
Great value for a quality padded bag. Not the equivalent of an $80 bag; but way better than lower end competitors. Made from quality material with enough padding so I do not have to worry about the instrument getting banged around. I’d reorder if I need another bag.

I felt very happy to receive the product as it is very good looking, its bags are useful for storing accessories, strap, cables, etc. And most importantly my Fender Telecaster fits perfectly and is well protected due to its padded layer. 100% satisfied
This is a really good gig bag for your guitar if you don’t knock …
This is a really good gig bag for your guitar if you don’t knock it around much & excellent if you need something at home to keep the dust off. I bought the Jumbo Gig Bag, took it out of the box & put my Epiphone EJ-200SCE Jumbo guitar in it. After stretching the bag & zippers a little bit it fit perfectly. I think the bag will stretch further after a few days. It’s only $20 & a bargain for a gig bag. Please realize the padding is thin & only offers minimal protection, though you’ll have pockets galore.. I rated it 5 stars because it fits my needs.
